I can still remember it like yesterday, I was five years old and had just gotten a hold of my grandmothers red lipstick. I still think that was the day I knew I wanted to be a makeup artist.
Growing up I always had a fascination with making people look and feel beautiful. I would constantly buy magazines and surf the web for new and different makeup trends. It was only natural when I started at Blanche MacDonald in 2003, that I excelled in fashion, beauty and hair trend. Following school I quickly jumped into the retail world, working for some of my favorite lines and meeting some of my most favourite clientele. Every client that left my chair always went away with a big smile on their face. I knew I had done my job and had done it well. There was no better feeling for me than that. During my retail years I became aware of Studio 26. I followed Racquel Lacsons’ work very closely and admired her determination and professionalism. It was apparent to me that I wanted to be a part of her extremely gifted team. I knew I could fit in perfectly because I too strive to be the best in everything that I do. I want my clients to always leave with a sense of satisfaction in my work. I want them to know that they can count on me just like the rest of the artists at Studio 26.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be part of Studio 26 and look forward to making my clients feel and look nothing but beautiful on their big day.
